Here it is Sunday morning and I am catching up on a few things, but my heart yearns to be out and enjoying ministry somewhere, anywhere. God has been so good to me and my family to allow us to be in His work. My heart's desire is that everyone in all the world hears the gospel. That is what I have been called to do and what I hope to finish.
It is good, too, though, to be home with Linda for a time to help get the house ready for Christmas and a wonderful invasion of ALL of our family. Can't wait. I am praying for snow so that Lily and Claire can enjoy the sledding and tubing and we have some small snow shoes for River to try out. Just 9" will do, Lord.
I have our first train set up with a small village. I am going to make mountains with snow etc, well try to. If I can't I know that my father-in-law can show me how. Tree will be decorated when everyone is here. It will be a huge family project.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Catching up with Family and Friends.

I have been looking at my daughter Cindi's blog and knew that I had opened one so when I kept exploring, huala, here it is. She has the best blog because she is so creative and the pics with the camera she has turn out perfect. She is writing to Kurt every day because he is in a hospital rotation that keeps him busy. We can't wait to see them at Christmas. Mae and Luke and their dog mac make for the best subjects and we can see them growing while they are being photographed each day. That is so exciting. We love our family so much and are so thankful for them. Thank you Cindi for making it possible for us to be right there with you. Mom and Dad.

I think we are coming through this.

Well, here I am a year and a little bit later from my last post. It just happened that when Linda was diagnosed with breasr cancer that I dropped quite a few things that were extra like blogging. Now we are coming up to her last operation, we pray, on Tuesday JAN, 18. The Drs. are saying that she is evidently healed and we'll see you in four months for routine check-ups. So, we need your prayers still and are hoping to keep you totally informed about family and ministry.

Verses for the new year.

While doing my Quiet Time this morning I came across my new verses for this fiscal year, Sept 1, 2009 to Aug 31, 2010. They are found in Psalm 92: 12-15. The King James says it pretty explicitely but the Spanish version is much more gracious in verse14. Either way I praise the Lord for the opportunity to serve and be a part of fulfilling my heart's desire to go into all the world and preach the gospel. I trust you are being fulfilled as well, those of you who might read this.

Saturday, Sept 19, getting ready to go out and work on the yard so we can have the landscaping done for the winter. Besides, we are preparing to move sometime in November to become caregivers for our parents, Harry and Millie. Please pray that we find the right people to rent our home and that the move goies well. We will still be easily accessible to all and we expect to see tons of people coming to enjoy our home and Linda's wonderful hospitality.
